Tamar Lalo

Tamar Lalo recorderTamar Lalo is an Israeli recorder player.

After reaching the top in Israel, performing with a number of orchestras including the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of the Maestro Zubin Mehta, Tamar Lalo moved to Europe. In the past few years Tamar has played solo and chamber music concerts worldwide. She is invited to play as soloist with Ensemble La Ritirata on a regular basis. Tamar has recorded for the labels Arsis, Cantus and Glossa and for the National Spanish TV as well as CNART TV.

Tamar has several bachelor and master degrees, both in classical music and in Historical Interpretation, from The Royal Conservatory The Hague, The Royal Conservatory Brussels,  Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya (ESMUC) and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

Tamar is currently a regular teacher in the Tel Aviv International Early Music Seminar organized by the Israeli Conservatory.
